I had a dream
The sun, the moon, the stars, and the earth
Danced in a circle in the night.
From the center of the circle came
Bright flashes of darkness, pulsating nothingness.
I had a second dream.
The earth, the sun, the moon, and the stars
Danced in a circle in the sky.
From the center of the circle came
A smiling woman, clothed in fire, Dancing.
I had a third dream.
The stars, the earth, the sun, and the moon
Danced in a circle in the dark.
From the center of the circle came
The shimmering, dancing woman.
Singing silently, she touched me.
I had a fourth dream.
The moon, the stars, the earth, and the sun
Danced in a circle in the cosmos.
From the center of the circle came
The fly that does not burn, the mystery in the night,
The dancing light, the shining woman, And myself.
I had no more dreams
Of the sun, the moon, the stars, and the earth
Dancing in their midnight circle.
From the center of the circle had come My name,
Mystery Night Woman, Northern Lights Woman.
I had dreamt it, four times I dreamt it.
It was mine.

Dream
Dreams take me back
To another place and time
To a time when I was younger
Full of life and in my prime.
If only I could dream now
As I did back then
Without any doubts and fears
Willing to take a chance again.
But this is reality my friend
Where life can be cruel
Like a tiger stalking his prey
In a jungle without any rules.
You feel his ever presence
You look but cannot see.
You know you're going down
But when you can't foresee.
If only I could dream
With security and hope again
I'd be willing to take a chance
Without a second thought my friend.
But instead I dream with caution,
Uncertainty and fear
Not knowing what my future holds
Afraid the tiger will still be near.
