A friend once said to me
There is a place I would like you to see
You are a good person I’ve come to know
You have lots to offer and to show

An invitation was sent to me one day
I looked it over not too sure what to say
A few days later I decided to join
This is new to me, rare, like a two headed coin

The confusion I had was plain to see
So much help has been given to me
After awhile I knew I had found a place
Here on earth, special, yet never seeing a face

There are many Angels here you see
A place I am glad I decided to be
A dream of one yet made for us all
To comfort, have fun, and share the call

Angels reach for your hand right from the start
Kinds words comforting you, just touch your heart
Earthly Angels is but all they be
But Angels of Compassion for you and me

Welcome to my memorial site
over Angels of Compassion

After AOC closed its gates for good I decieded to do this memorial site with the beautiful webset LauraAnn put together. This is my top favourit websets of all I've ever seen on the net. I will keep a few things like the poem above and the creed below and add a few of my personal awards and other beautiful graphics given to me by these kind and gentle angels. I am sure all and everyone wanted and strived to be as good as angels, but we are all only human beings with our faults and though the aim was good it got pretty bad sometimes I have realized. As I was a faithful member in the background I was not really into all the troubles the boardmembers faced. For most of my membership I was pretty unknown.

Today I am still hanging out with my favourite angels from the fun and creative PSP-class. Before these angels I felt not quite into the group after angels I had known for years left and was never heard of. My one dream as a member was to one day earn the precious award the site of the month, but that dream never came true as there was no way for me to get my site on the competition without the help of other angels, and they never put me up. I saw other sites getting voted on month after month and it truly saddened me they never wanted me to be a part of that competition as webdesigning had been my biggest passion for so many years I had hoped one of my creations had been good enough to get atleast one chance.

Lately have I recieved so much appreciation for my work from others I feel its okey my past work was not up to standard. I am getting better and will not anymore get sad if others don't vote for me. I am lousy at promoting myself, so no wonder sites I thought dead ugly had better fortunes then mine. I spend more time working on my sites then promoting them, so hence I always come way back in any site competitions, which only shows all competitions are fake. Yes, I even heard the song-competion on tele this spring was rigged so one artist would win. Alot of people couldn't vote for any other no matter how hard they tried! And the only time I won a first prize in sports my prize was given to another as the teacher "misplaced" my scores! No wonder I hate competing... LOL

As Angels of Compassion we will endeavor to pay back some of the love, support, kindness, affection, patience and understanding that has been shown to us.

Our goal is to encourage and praise not only each other but also our friends throughout the internet and in "Real" as well. We will never hesitate to hand out hugs generously and freely.

Our promise is to be a friend to the best of our ability. To not hesitate when we are called upon by someone who is in need of friendship or help. To give support when someone is feeling depressed or lonely. Congratulate someone who has achieved and encourage someone who has failed. We will provide a shoulder to cry on, wipe a tear, hug an enemy and turn frowns into smiles.

We recognize as a team we can make a difference and will work together and provide support to all the Angels of Compassion committees. We will endeavor to be honest, supportive, respectful and loyal to our fellow angels. We will treat them as we would want to be treated ourselves and will not be prejudiced or unkind.

If we can successfully accomplish at least one of these wonderful human attributes then we can spread our angel wings proudly and soar above our own personal trials. We will always be careful to maintain our angelic halos and be a shining example of how an angel should behave. If we can proudly boast about bringing sunshine and happiness into lives, then we are truly Angels of Compassion.
