This tutorial was made in PSP 8.10, and assumes that you

have intermediate knowledge in PSP.

To do this tutorial you'll need:

Paintshop Pro - click here to download a trial version

Filter Factory Gallery A - Wood Grain, click here to download

Flaming Pear - Designer Sextet - Silver - click here to download

A image of your choice

Step 1 - Open the image hold down shift+D, close the original

and resize about about 250px in the largest side.

Sharpen if nedeed.

Step 2 - Image add borders, add a 2px white border, select this border with the magic wand with this settings:

We'll use this settings each time we use this tool, in this tutorial.

Step 3 - Effects - Plugins - Flaming Pear - Silver with the default settings, just change the upper box color from black to #404040. Deselect.

Step 4 - Image add borders, add a 1px black border

Step 5 - Repeat Step 2 & 3

Step 6 - Image add borders, add 10px black border, select with magic wand. Effects - Plugins - Filter Factory A - Wood Grain with the default settings, just change the Grains to 26.

Step 7 - Keep selected, selctions invert - Effects 3D Effects - Drop Shadow H&V = "1" Opacity="100" Blur="5" color black . Repeat with H&v="-1" and
deselect.

Step 8 - Repeat Step 2 & 3

Step 9 - Image add borders, add a 15px black border. Select this border with the magic wand. Effects - 3D Effects - Inner Bevel with this settings:

Deselect.

Step 10 - Image add borders, add a 20px black border. Select this border with the magic wand. (If you have any difficult with this you can go to Selection - Selections all - Selections modify Contract by 20. Selections Invert.) Apply this Inner Bevel:

Deselect

Step 11 - Repeat Step 2 & 3

Step 12 - Image add borders, add a 30px black border. Select this border with the magic wand . Effects - Plugins - Filter Factory Gallery A - Wood Grain with the default settings, just change this: Ammount to 86 and Grain 14

Step 13 - Keep selected and apply this Inner Bevel:

Deselect.

Step 14 - Repeat Steps 2 & 3 & 4

Step 15 - Image add borders, add a 5 px white border. Select this border with the magic wand and apply the Silver with the same settings before. Deselect. You can stop here or go ahead and add some corners.

Step 16 - Open the corner tube provided or use one of your choice. Copy and paste as new Layer in your frame. Resize as you preffer. I did resize by 60% with Resize all layers unchecked.

Step 17 - Selections all - Selections Float - Selections Defloat. Effects - Flaming Pear - Silver with this settings:

Deselect

Step 18 - Apply the same Drop Shadow used in step 6 without the repeat part.

Step 19 - Drag the corner to the position. Layers - Duplicate. Image Mirror - Image Flip.

Save your image and finish!
