This tutorial was created June 16, 2006 Any resemblance to other online tutorials is purely coincidence ŠN@thy 2006 This tutorial was written using PSP 9, but can be done in other versions ~ You will need ~ Paint Shop Pro, a 30 day trial can be downloaded here My supplies here. The zip includes the Frames, tubes, patterns and font (Tubes have HIDDEN layers which mean you must unhide to see them) Open everything in psp and unhide all layers for the tubes Maximize pattern.jpg, duplicate it and minimize one copy for later use This will be our working image Maximize metaleylette-sm.pspimage Copy Cirle 1 and paste as new layer in our working area Move it to the right so we see just about 2/3 of it Copy Cirle 2 and paste as new layer in our working area Move it to the right so we see just about 2/3 of it Layers, Merge, Merge Down Set your background to pattern Find wineNdDine purple stripe paper SM.jpg Angle 0, Scale 100 Activate the Magic Wand and select the part between the 2 circles Layers, New Raster Layer Selections, Modify, Expand 5 Fill the selection with the pattern Selections, Select None Change the opacity to 80 Layers, Arrange, Move Down Now that layer should be under the frames layer Activate your top layer (should be the frames layer) With your Magic Wand and select the part in the little circle Copy voilerose.jpg and paste as new layer Move it to the right so it fits nicely in the selection Selections, Modify, Expand 5 Selections, Invert Hit delete once on your keyboard Selections, Select None Layers, Arrange, Move Down Now that layer should be under the frames layer Activate your top layer (should be the frames layer) Effects, 3D Effects, Drop Shadow and use the following settings: ![]() Copy accent1.pspimage and paste as new layer Move it to the left and position it in the middle strip of the background Effects, 3D Effects, Drop Shadow and use the following settings: ![]() Maximize words.pspimage and copy happiness layer Paste as new layer Move it down in the left corner Now back to words.pspimage and copy cherish layer Paste as new layer Move it up in the left corner Move this layer down so its under the frames Activate your top layer Click on your preset shapes tool and choose the ellipse and use the following settings: ![]() Set your foreground to red Set your background to NULL Draw a circle that will fit inside the big circle frame Doesnt need to be perfect Image, Flip Position the circle ![]() Set both foreground and background to pattern same settings pattern.jpg, Angle 0, Scale 100 Activate your text tool and use the following settings: ***Make sure you select floating under create as*** ![]() Hover your text tool over the red line When you see a little A with a half circle underneath it ![]() Click your left mouse and type your name ![]() You can click the space bar to move the text around the circle Selections, Promote Selections to Layer Selections, Select None Effects, 3D Effects, Drop Shadow and use the following settings: ![]() Activate the vector layer Layers, Delete { If your text wont appear correctly (showing upside down, etc.) I included the vector shape in psp format Just copy and paste into your working area than type your name again It should now work } Image, Add Border, 4 pixels color #955b58 Save your work as jpg Add your watermark and your tag is finished.
