Satin Dress

This tutorial is written for Paint Shop Pro 8 but
can be done in other versions as well.

What You Will Need

Paint Shop Pro
Kang 4 - BC Waves
FM Tile Tools
Paint Engine
NVR Bordermania
Screenworks
Filter Factory D
Supplies
Graphic of choice

1. Open your graphic, duplicate and close original
Set foreground pattern to the gold fill
Choose a color from your graphic and set as
the background color - I used #642114

2. Add 1px border -

select with magic wand
(In the Add Borders Dialog Box set the
color to white - #ffffff)
Flood fill with gold pattern
Selections - Invert

3. Effects - 3D Effects - Cutout

Select none

4. Add 1px border - select with magic wand

Floodfill with background color
Select none

Add 1px border - select with magic wand
Flood fill with gold pattern
Select none

6. Add 1px border - select

with magic wand
Flood fill with background color
Select none

7. Add 10px border - select with magic wand

Flood fill with gold pattern
Effects - Plugins - Screenworks - Pixel Shade
Effects - Plugins - NVR Bordermania - Frame #2
Select none

8. Add 1px border -

select with magic wand
Flood fill with background color
Select none

9. Add 1px border - select with magic wand

Flood fill with gold pattern
Select none

10. Add 1px border - select with magic wand

Flood fill with foreground color
Select none

11. Add 1px border - select with magic wand

Flood fill with gold pattern
Select none

12. Add 10px border - select with magic wand

Flood fill with background color
Select none

13. Repeat Steps 9 - 11

14. Add 20 px border - select with magic wand

Flood fill with background color
Effects - Plugins - Kang 4 - Bubblecross Waves

Effects - Plugins - FM Tile Tools - Blend Emboss

Apply the default settings
Effects - 3D Effects - Inner Bevel
Select none

15. Repeat Steps 9 - 11

16. Add 25px border - select with magic wand

Flood fill with foreground color
Effects - Plugins - Fantastic Machines - Paint Engine

Apply the same settings again this time change

the stroke type to Intensity 1
Effects - 3D Effects- Inner Bevel
Apply the same settings as in Step 14
Select none

17. Repeat Steps 9 - 11

18. Add 30px border - select with magic wand

Flood fill with foreground color
Effects - Filter Factory D - Quantum Tile

Effects - 3D Effects - Inner Bevel

Apply the same settings as in Step 14
Select none

19. Repeat Steps 9 - 11

Add the corners I have provided or some

of your own.
