Supplies

 

1. Open up an image that is 300 x 420 or near enough to that size

2. Add a 2px border - select and fill with the goldfill1 pattern - keep selected - invert and apply the following cut-out

3. Add a 1px black border

4. Add a 2px border - select and fill with the goldfill1 pattern

5. Choose a dark colour from your image and add a 30px border - select this border and apply Flaming Pears Flexify using the sde_frame1 preset - keep selected and apply Filters Unlimited 2 - Buttons & Frames - Glass Frame 2 at the default settings

6. Add a 3px border - select and fill with the gold pattern - keep selected and apply Screenworks Chainlink - Adjust - Sharpness - Sharpen

7. Add a 30px border using your dark colour - select and add a new layer - flood fill this layer with a light colour that will compliment your darker colour

8. Layers - load/save mask - load mask from disk - find and apply dm_brdr1041 mask - make sure the invert transparency box is checked

9. On the layer palette right click and delete the mask layer

10. Selections ---> Float and apply the following drop shadow

12. Keep selected and apply FM Tile Tools - Blend Emboss - select none

13. On your layer palette, right click on the group raster layer and merge visible

14. Add a 2px border - select and fill with the gold pattern

 

I've included the corners I made for my frame, if you don't want them the same colour just colorize them to match your finished frame
