PLEASE NOTE
The
gradient I've used in this tutorial will come up
showing the colours you have as your foreground
and background colours, so make sure you set these
to the colours you want your frame to
be...
1.
Open up your image and add a 2px white border -
select and apply Ulead Art Texture Gold
(press on edit and select palette

Keep selected - Invert and apply the following
cut-out

Add a 2px black border
4.
Add a 5px white border - select and apply Ulead
Art Texture Gold preset - keep selected and apply
NRV Bordermania Frame 2 changing the top two
settings to 5
5.
Add a 1px black border
6. Add a 25px border - select and
fill with the bluebell gradient (Angle &
Repeats both set to zero) - keep selected -
Effects - Texture Effects - Soft Plastic at the
following settings - apply this
twice

NOTE: you may want use another gradient
or even your foreground/background gradient, this
is fine but you will get a different effect which
I think is just as nice, if you choose to go your
own way only apply the soft plastic
once..
7.
Add a 1px black border
8.
Add a 15px border - select and fill with your
gradient only this time tick the Invert box so
that your colours are flipped - apply the
following Inner Bevel

Add a 1px black border
10.
Add a 2px border - select and apply Ulead Art
Texture Gold
11.
Add a 30px black border, select - add a new raster
layer - Layers - Load/Save Masks - load mask from
disk - find and apply the 125kris
mask
12.
Highlight your Raster 1 layer on your layer
palette and flood fill this layer with your
gradient, make sure the Invert box is unchecked -
Layers - Merge - Merge all - select
none
13.
Add a 5px white border - select and fill with
Ulead Art Texture Gold - keep selected and apply
NRV Bordermania Frame 2 using the same settings as
previously
14.
Open up the diamond pattern and apply to each
corner
