This tutorial was made with PSP 8 and assumes

that you have intermediate PSP knowledge.

For do this tutorial you'll need the following tools:

1- Paint Shop Pro , click here to download a trial version.

2- Smoke pattern, this pattern goes with PSP 8, but

I added in zip to download, if you don't have it

click here.

Let's go:

Step 1- Open a new image with 200 x 200 pixels

16 million colors, with transparent background.

Step 2- Flood fill with the smoke pattern, angle= "0"

scale ="100".

Step 3- Go to Effects - Artistic Effects - Colored Foil

use the custom preset 2.

Step 4- Go to Effects - Artistic Effects - Enamel,

with the following settings:

Step 5- Add a new layer and fill with a color of

your choice. I used here #3D535A .

Step 6- Right right your colored layer in the Layers Palette

and change the blend mode to Multiply like this:

Hard Light works well to darker colors try to play with

the blends you can find great results.

Step 7- Go to Effects - Image Effects - Seamless

Tiling . V&H="0". Width="50", Mirror and Bidirecional

both checked . Save as jpg.
