Bathed In Moonlight

Tutorial was done using PSP9 but can easily be done using other versions.

Materials

Paint Shop Pro
Bordermania
Krusty's FX Volume III - Radial Texturizer
Fantastic Machines - Paint Engine
Fantastic Machines - FM Tile Tools
Supplies

1. Open your image, duplicate and close the original
Choose a dark color from your graphic and set as the foreground color
I am using #403e4b
Choose another color from your graphic and set as the background color
I am using #4d6798
Set the foreground pattern to the gold from the zip

2. Add 2px border
Select and fill with the gold pattern
Selections - Invert

3. Effects - 3d Effects - Cutout
Select none

4. Add 1px border - dark
To make adding these borders easier, right click on the
color swatch in the Adding Borders Options Palette
It will bring up your most recently used colors and will have
the background, foreground, and other colors there as well

5. Add 2px border
Select and fill with the gold pattern
Select none

6. Add 1px border - dark

7. Add 5px border
Select and fill with the gold pattern
Effects - Plugins - Bordermania - Frame 2
Select none

8. Add 10px border
Select and fill with the background color
Effects - Plugins - Two Moon - Roto Blade

Effects - Plugins - FM Tile Tools - Blend Emboss
Apply the default settings
Select none

9. Add 1px border - dark

10. Add 2px border
Select and fill with the gold pattern
Select none

11. Add 1px border - dark

12. Add 5px border
Select and fill with the background color
Effects - Plugins - Bordermania - Frame 2
Select none

13. Add 2px border
Select and fill with the gold pattern
Select none

14. Add 1px border - dark

15. Add 15px border
Select and fill with the background color
Effects - Plugins - Krusty's FX Vol III - Radial Texturizer

Effects - Plugins - Bordermania - Frame 2
Select none

16. Add 2px borders
Select and fill with the gold pattern
Select none

17. Add 1px border - dark

18. Add 5px border
Select and fill with the gold pattern
Effects - Plugins - Bordermania - Frame 2
Apply the same settings as in Step 7
Select none

19. Add 15px border
Select and fill with the background color
Effects - Texture Effects - Blinds

Effects - Plugins - Fantastic Machines - Paint Engine

Effects - Plugins - Bordermania - Frame 2
Apply the same settings as in Step 7
Select none

20. Add 2px border
Select and fill with the gold pattern
Select none

21. Add 1px border - dark

22. Add 5px border
Select and fill with the gold pattern
Effects - Plugins - Bordermania - Frame 2
Apply the same settings as in Step 7
Select none

Add the supplied corners or some of your own
