Open a new image 200 x 200 - transparent 2. Choose 2 colors for the background Set the darker of the 2 colors as the foreground The colors I am using are: dark - #003461 light - #5a7c93 3. Set the background to gradient with the settings below> Flood fill the image with the gradient ![]() 4. Adjust - Blur - Gaussian Blur - Radius - 20.00 Adjust - Add/Remove Noise - Add Noise - Gaussian - 8% - Monochrome 5. Effects - Plugins - Kang 4 - Bubble-Cross Waves ![]() 6. Effects - Plugins - FM Tile Tools - Blend Emboss Apply the default settings - twice *The next step is necessary so the background tiles seamlessly The blend emboss leaves a distinctive line around the square* 7. Selections - Select All Selections - Modify - Contract - 2px Image - Crop to Selection 8.
