Wild in the Country
(PSP  8, 9 & 10 - no filters))

What you need is PSP 8 and this ZIP.
A 30 days trial
of PSP 8 here.
I used this picture but another one with a nice landscape or forest will do.

Right click >
Copy and paste in PSP.

Save often.
Let's go. Good luck.

1. Open your image.
An image in landscape < ---- > works best.
Size must be about 400 pixels width,
preverently not bigger.

Shift D to duplicate.

2. Selections > All.
Selections > 
Modify > Contract with 25.

3. Selections > Invert.

Effects > 3D Effects > Inner bevel.
Keep selected.

4. In your toolbar find the button 'Emboss brush'.

These settings:

With one stroke go round your beveled selected part, emboss the whole area.
You can best use size 32 to do that.

5. In the same menu find 'Push'.

These settings:

Push the selected part in one stroke.

6. Effects > 3D effects> Drop shadow.

Repeat > H and V at - 2.

7. Copy.

Selections > None.

Paste as a new layer.
Imag
e > Resize 75% (all layers unchecked).

8. With your wand click the middle of the small frame.
Selections > 
Modify > Expand 3 pixels.

9. Layers > New raster layer.

Open Scene-2.jpg.
Copy and close the original.
Edit > Paste > Paste into selection.
In your layer palette, set opacity  to 50%.
Place this layer below the layer with the small frame.
Keep selected.

You must have this now.

10. New raster layer.

Effects > 3D effects > Cut out.

Repeat with Vert. and Horiz. at - 2.

Selections > None.

11. Activate your top layer (small frame)  raster 1 (= blue).
Repeat the drop shadow at 1 en -1.

12. Activate your bottom layer (= background).

Effects > Geometric effects > Perspective - Horizontal.



13. Distortion 45 >
Color black.

Click OK.

14. Select (tolerance 20) with the black area at top and bottom.
Hold shift to select both!

Open the copy of Scene.jpg and copy.

Edit > Paste > Paste into selection.

15. Effects > 3D effects > Inner bevel.

16. In emboss tool menu, find sharpen. 
Cover the selected part with one stroke.

Selections > None.

17. Layers > Merge > Merge visible layers.

You must have this now.

18. Open merries.psp you found in the ZIP.
These horses I draw myself with my mouse in PSP.
The
y are (Mar's Design ©) copyrighted.

Copy and paste the horses as a new layer.
With move to the right bottom corner.

19. Selections > All.
Selections >
Float.

Zoom in close.
Fill all parts of the horses with #E8A37E.
Don't forget anything (also the little eyes).

20. Effects > 3D effects > Inner bevel > Preset Frame.
Effects > 3D effects > Drop shadow at 2 and -
2.

Layers > Merge > Merge all layers flatten.

Your Wild in the Country Frame is done.
