2007 Any resemblance to other online tutorials is purely coincidence ŠN@thy 2007 This tutorial was written using PSP 9, but can be done in other versions ~ You will need ~ The word art Halloween, doodles and bow I used are by Melissa. You can find her awesome work @ Scrappy Expressions The moon and tombstone I used were tubed by Monique. You can find her beautiful tubes here Paint Shop Pro, a 30 day trial can be downloaded here My supplies here. The zips include the tubes and font Open the tubes in psp Tubes have HIDDEN layers which mean you must unhide to see them Minimize them all Double click to open the font "WiesbadenSwing-Roman" and minimize it on your desktop ~ Step 1 ~ Maximize Thaīss...C_Alissia.pspimage Duplicate and close the original Working on the copy, delete Raster 3 and hide Raster 1 Activate Raster 2 (bottom layer) Set your foreground color to #490002 and fill the layer Copy Tubed_by_monique42_3211.psp and paste as new layer Move the moon in the top left corner Adjust, Hue and Saturation, Colorize and use these settings: Hue: 255, Saturation: 255 Copy Tubed_by_monique42_3238.psp and paste as new layer Change the Blend Mode to Luminance (Legacy) Move the tombstone into the bottom left corner Unhide Raster 1 Layers, Merge, Merge Visible Minimize this image as we will need it later ~ Step 2 ~ File, New Width and Height: 600, Transparent Background Fill this layer with White Copy tk_crinkledpaper.png and paste as new layer Image, Resize and use these settings: 80 Percent, Resample using Smart Size, Lock aspect ratio Checked, Resize all layers Unchecked Adjust, Hue and Saturation, Colorize and use these settings: Hue: 255, Saturation: 200 Effects, 3D Effects, Drop Shadow and use these settings: ![]() ~ Step 3 ~ Copy SE_doodleART_6.pspimage and paste as new layer Image, Resize and use these settings: 90 Percent, Resample using Smart Size, Lock aspect ratio Checked, Resize all layers Unchecked Move it at the top Change the Opacity to 56 Layers, Duplicate Image, Flip ~ Step 4 ~ Copy SE_doodleART_4.pspimage and paste as new layer Image, Flip Move it at the bottom Using the Raster Deform Tool, stretch it to the top Effects, 3D Effects, Drop Shadow and use these settings: ![]() Layers, Merge, Merge Visible ~ Step 5 ~ Copy nathy_frame_stitches_1.png and paste as a new layer into your working area Activate your Magic Wand and select inside the frame Layers, New Raster Layer Move this layer so its underneath the frame Copy the image we made in step 1 and paste into selection Selections, Select None Active the frame layer (should be the top layer) Effects, 3D Effects, Drop Shadow and use these settings: ![]() Repeat the Drop Shadow but change Vertical and Horizontal to -2 ~ Step 6 ~ Copy nathy_frame_stitches_2.png and paste as a new layer Image, Rotate, Free Rotate and use these settings: Direction: Right, Degrees: 10, all other options Unchecked Repeat both Drop Shadow from Step 5 ~ Step 7 ~ Copy nathy_string.png and paste as new layer Move the string to the top left corner of the picture (look at my image for placement) Apply same Drop Shadow as in Step 5 but do NOT repeat with minus 2 Copy nathy_rattytag_black_stretched.png and paste as new layer Move this layer down in the Layers Palette Move the tag to the left so the string holds it Repeat both Drop Shadow from Step 5 ~ Step 8 ~ Activate the Text tool and use the following settings: ![]() Set your Foreground color to NULL Set your Background color to #ffffff Type your name or whatever you want Image, Rotate, Free Rotate and use these settings: Direction: Left, Degrees: 90, all other options Unchecked Position the text inside the tag we just put Layers, Convert to Raster Layer Layers, Arrange, Bring to Top ~ Step 9 ~ Copy SE_Trick-or-Treat_PageTopper.pspimage and paste as new layer Image, Resize and use these settings: 50 Percent, Resample using Smart Size, Lock aspect ratio Checked, Resize all layers Unchecked Move it at the bottom of the frames (look at my image for placement) Change the Blend Mode to Luminance (Legacy) ~ Step 10 ~ Maximize SE_Bows_18.pspimage Copy the top layer and paste as new layer on your working area Image, Resize and use these settings: 50 Percent, Resample using Smart Size, Lock aspect ratio Checked, Resize all layers Unchecked Image, Rotate, Free Rotate and use these settings: Direction: Right, Degrees: 110, all other options Unchecked Move the bow on the right side of the frame, just under the woman's chin Repeat both Drop Shadow from Step 5 ~ Step 11 ~ Copy clip-red2.png and paste as new layer Image, Rotate, Free Rotate and use these settings: Direction: Right, Degrees: 110, all other options Unchecked Move the bow on top of the black one Activate the Freehand Selection Select the clip's piece you want to delete (I deleted the one on the outside) Hit delete once on your keyboard Apply same Drop Shadow as in Step 5 but do NOT repeat with minus 2 Layers, Merge All (Flatten) Add your watermark, resize if you'd like and save your work as jpg Your tag is finished.
