This tutorial was created in 2006 Any resemblance to other online tutorials is purely coincidence ŠN@thy 2007 This tutorial was written using PSP 9, but can be done in other versions ~ You will need ~ Paint Shop Pro, a 30 day trial can be downloaded here Filters Unlimited 2.0, you can download here VM Instant Art (Spider Web), you can download here My supplies here. The zip includes the tubes, picture frame and font Put the picture frame in your picture frame folder Open your tubes in psp Tubes have HIDDEN layers which mean you must unhide to see them Minimize them all Double click to open the font "Passions Conflict ROB" and minimize it on your desktop Set your Foreground color to White (#FFFFFF) Set your Background color to #A295B5 ~ Step 1 ~ File, New Width and Height set to 400, Transparent Background Copy witchandwebljt.psp and paste as new layer Move it on the left close to the edge Adjust, Blur, Gaussian Blur and set the Radius to 15 Set the Opacity of this layer to 50 ~ Step 2 ~ Layers, Duplicate Image Mirror Layers, Merge, Merge Visible Effects, Art Media Effects, Brush Strokes and use the following settings (color #808080): ![]() ~ Step 3 ~ Ajust, Hue and Saturation, Colorize and use the following settings: Hue: 183, Saturation: 45 Layers, New Raster Layer Layers, Arrange, Send to Bottom Fill this layer with White Layers, Merge, Merge Visible ~ Step 4 ~ Effects, Plugins, Filters Unlimited 2, Edges Square, Square Edge 17 Just click Apply Effects, 3D Effects, Drop Shadow and use the following settings (color #A295B5): ![]() Image, Resize and use the following settings: Width and Height: 95%, Resample using Bicubic, Lock aspect ratio checked, Resize all layers Not checked ~ Step 5 ~ Copy witchandwebljt.psp and paste as new layer once again If the witch is not the top layer then Layers, Arrange, Bring to Top Move it on the edge on the left side of the frame (Look at my image for placement) Effects, 3D Effects, Drop Shadow and use the following settings: ![]() Layers, Merge, Merge Visible Minimize for later use ~ Step 6 ~ File, New Width and Height set to 530, Transparent Background Set your foreground to Gradient and use the following settings: Linear, Angle 45, Repeat 3, Invert Checked Fill your layer with the gradient Adjust, Blur, Gaussian Blur and set the Radius to 15 ~ Step 7 ~ Effects, Plugins, VM Instant Art, Spider Web and use the following settings: ![]() Ajust, Hue and Saturation, Colorize and use the following settings: Hue: 183, Saturation: 45 Set the Opacity of this layer to 50 Image, Picture Frame Find Edge design 01 and use the following settings: ![]() ~ Step 8 ~ Copy ricrac.pspimage and paste as new layer Move this layer under the picture frame layer Set the Opacity to 80 Position the ricrac at the top leaving some space so we can see it (Look at my image for placement) Layers, Duplicate Image, Flip Layers, New Raster Layer Layers, Arrange, Send to Bottom Fill this layer with white Layers, Merge, Merge Visible ~ Step 9 ~ Copy our witch frame image we created earlier and paste as new layer Image, Rotate, Free Rotate and use the following settings: Direction: Left, Degrees: 10, All layers not checked Layers, Duplicate Image, Mirror Paste our witch frame image as new layer once again (witch should be in your clipboard still) Image, Rotate, Free Rotate and use the following settings: Direction: Left, Degrees: 20, All layers not checked Layers, Duplicate Image, Mirror Paste our witch frame image as new layer once again (witch should be in your clipboard still) Layers, Merge, Merge Visible ~ Step 10 ~ Copy happyhalloween.pspimage and paste as new layer Move it to the top in the witch frame image (Look at my image for placement) Effects, 3D Effects, Drop Shadow and use the following settings: ![]() ~ Step 11 ~ Copy spiderandweb.pspimage and paste as new layer Move this layer under the Happy Halloween layer Position the spider and web under Happy Halloween (Look at my image for placement) Effects, 3D Effects, Drop Shadow and use the following settings: ![]() ~ Step 12 ~ Set your foreground color to Null Set your background color to Black (#000000) Activate text tool and use the following settings: ![]() Type your name Image, Rotate, Free Rotate and use the following settings: Direction: Left, Degrees: 20, All layers not checked Move it beside the witch and under the web (Look at my image for placement) Layers, Convert to Raster Layer Effects, 3D Effects, Drop Shadow and use the following settings (color #A295B5): ![]() Repeat Drop Shadow but change the color to #5F5274 Layers, Merge, Merge All (Flatten) Save your work as jpg Add your watermark and your tag is finished.
