This tutorial was created in 2006 Any resemblance to other online tutorials is purely coincidence ŠN@thy 2007 This tutorial was written using PSP 9, but can be done in other versions ~ You will need ~ Paint Shop Pro, a 30 day trial can be downloaded here Fm Tile Tools (Blend Emboss), you can download here My supplies here. The zip includes the tubes, patterns and fonts Open the tubes and patterns in psp Tubes have HIDDEN layers which mean you must unhide to see them Minimize them all Double click to open the font "Californian FB" and minimize it on your desktop Double click to open the font "Miss Le Gatees" and minimize it on your desktop Set your Foreground color to #836644 Set your Background color to #C8BA9B ~ Step 1 ~ File, New Width 360, Height 540, Transparent background Set your foreground to pattern, find wintermirrorbg1.jpg and use the following settings: Angle: 0, Scale 100 Fill the layer with the pattern ~ Step 2 ~ Layers, New Raster Layer Set your foreground to gradient with the following settings: Sunburst, Repeats 3, Invert NOT checked, Center Point: Horizontal and Vertical set to 50 Fill the layer with the gradient Adjust, Blur, Gaussian Blur and set the Radius to 20 Change the opacity of this layer to 10 ~ Step 3 ~ Layers, New Raster Layer Set your foreground to pattern, find trees3.jpg and use the following settings: Angle: 0, Scale 100 Fill the layer with the pattern Change the opacity of this layer to 30 Effects, Plugins, Fm Tile Tools, Blend Emboss and use the following settings: ![]() Repeat Blend Emboss using the same settings Layers, Merge, Merge Visible ~ Step 4 ~ Copy Kat_0459.pspimage and paste as new layer Move it up a little bit and to the right (Look at my image for placement) Effects, 3D Effects, Drop Shadow and use the following settings: ![]() Layers, Merge, Merge Visible ~ Step 5 ~ Activate your Selection Tool Click on Custom selection and use the following settings: ![]() Layers, New Raster Layer Set your foreground to pattern, find wintermirrorbg2.jpg and use the following settings: Angle: 0, Scale 100 Fill the selection with the pattern Selections, Select None Effects, 3D Effects, Drop Shadow and use the following settings: ![]() Layers, Merge, Merge Visible ~ Step 6 ~ Copy white-stiches.pspimage and paste as new layer Position it over the border on the left side (Look at my image for placement) Effects, 3D Effects, Drop Shadow and use the following settings: ![]() ~ Step 7 ~ Layers, Duplicate Move these stiches on the right side of the border (Look at my image for placement) Layers, Merge, Merge Visible ~ Step 8 ~ Activate your Selection Tool Click on Custom selection and use the following settings: ![]() Set your foreground to pattern, find wintermirrorbg3.jpg and use the following settings: Angle: 0, Scale 100 Fill the selection with the pattern Selections, Select None ~ Step 9 ~ Copy RPENN_adayatthespa-ribbon1.pspimage and paste as new layer Position it just over the bottom border we just created (Look at my image for placement) Effects, 3D Effects, Drop Shadow and use the following settings: ![]() Layers, Merge, Merge Visible ~ Step 10 ~ Set your foreground to NULL Set your background to #F5E1C4 Activate Text Tool and use the following settings: ![]() ![]() Type Winter Mirror or whatever you want ~ Step 11 ~ Image, Rotate, Free Rotate and use the following settings: Direction: Left, Degrees: 90, All layers Not checked Position the text on top of the left border (Look at my image for placement) Layers, Convert to Raster Layer Effects, 3D Effects, Drop Shadow and use the following settings: ![]() Layers, Merge, Merge Visible ~ Step 12 ~ Activate Text Tool once again and use the following settings: ![]() ![]() Type your name or whatever you want Position it under the mirror (Look at my image for placement) ~ Step 13 ~ Layers, Convert to Raster Layer Effects, 3D Effects, Drop Shadow and use the following settings: ![]() Layers, Merge, Merge All (Flatten) ~ Step 14 ~ Image, Add Borders, 5 pixels using #47331F Save your work as jpg Add your watermark and your tag is finished.
