2006 Any resemblance to other online tutorials is purely coincidence ŠN@thy 2007 This tutorial was written using PSP 9, but can be done in other versions ~ You will need ~ Paint Shop Pro, a 30 day trial can be downloaded here FM Tile Tools (Blend Emboss and Seamless Tile), you can download here Simple (Quick Tile), you can download here My supplies here. The zip includes the image and mask Put the mask in your mask folder Open your image in psp { If you are not using the picture provided then make sure yours is 512 by 320 } Layers, Promote Background Layer Duplicate your image and minimize one copy for later use Effects, Plugings, Simple, Quick Tile Adjust, Blur, Gaussian Blur and set the Radius to 35 Effects, Artistic Effects, Posterize with these settings: Levels: 50 Effects, Plugins, FM Tile Tools, Blend Emboss and use the default settings but uncheck "Edge Wrap" Repeat the Blend Emboss with the same settings Adjust, Add/Remove Noise, Add Noise and use the following settings: ![]() Effects, Image Effects, Seamless Tiling and use the following settings: ![]() Duplicate this image and minimize one for later use Activate your Selection Tool and use the following settings: ![]() Click on Custom Selection (shown by the red arrow) And use the following settings: Top: 280, Left: 0, Right: 512, Bottom: 320 Adjust, Add/Remove Noise, Add noise and use the same settings as before but change Noise for 20 Selections, Invert Effects, 3D Effects, Drop Shadow and use the following settings: ![]() Selections, Select None Layers, Load/Save Mask, Load Mask From Disk Find CrisTaylor_m40(1) mask and use the following settings: ![]() Layers, Merge, Merge Group Maximize the image we duplicated earlier (not the background) and copy it Go back to our main image Edit, Paste, Paste As New Layer Image, Resize 75% (for "Resample" use Bicubic and make sure "Resize all layers" is NOT checked) Move your image up some (refer to my finished image for placement) Effects, 3D Effects, Drop Shadow and use the following settings: ![]() Repeat Drop Shadow but change Vertical and Horizontal to -8 Layers, Duplicate Image, Resize 50% (for "Resample" use Bicubic and make sure "Resize all layers" is NOT checked) Move your image down and to the right (refer to my finished image for placement) Layers, Merge, Merge Visible Image, Canvas Size Change the height to 900 and make sure the width doesnt change (512) Placement bottom: 580 Effects, 3D Effects, Drop Shadow and use the following settings: ![]() Layers, New Raster Layer Layers, Arrange, Send to Bottom Set your foreground to pattern and find the background we created earlier Angle 0, Scale 100 Fill your layer Layers, Properties and change the Opacity around 50% Layers, Merge, Merge All (Flatten) Image, Rotate, Free Rotate Direction: Left, Degrees: 90, All layers: checked Effects, Plugins, FM Tile Tools, Seamless Tile and use the following settings: ![]() Image, Rotate, Free Rotate Direction: Right, Degrees: 90, All layers: checked Add your watermark and your tag is finished.
