This tutorial was written using PSP 9, but can be done in other versions

~ You will need ~
The bow tube I used is by Melissa. You can find her awesome work @ Scrappy Expressions
The snowflakes tubes I used is by Lor. You can find her awesome work @ The Way You Live
Paint Shop Pro, a 30 day trial can be downloaded here
My supplies here. The zip includes the tubes, transparencies, overlay and font
Double click to open the font "Borealis" and minimize it on your desktop
Open the tubes in PSP and minimize them all

File, New
Set Width to 364px and Height to 426px, Transparent background
Fill with Color White

Copy transparency1.pspimage and paste as new layer
Copy transparency2.pspimage and paste as new layer
Change the Opacity to 46
Maximize PureSoftness_TubedByGini_07-14-06.tub and resize it to a width of 371 pixels
Copy the tube and paste as new layer in your canvas and move it slightly to the left
Copy overlay.pspimage and paste as new layer
Layers, Merge, Merge Visible
Edit, Copy

File, New
Set Width to 482px and Height to 480px, Transparent background
Edit, Paste, Paste As New Layer
Resize your image 90%, Bicubic, All Layers Unchecked
Effects, 3D Effects, Drop Shadow and use these settings:
Vertical and Horizontal 2, Opacity 75, Blur 5 and Color Black

Duplicate this layer twice
Click on the first copy of the image layer
Image, Rotate, Free Rotate and use these settings:
Direction: Left, Degrees: Free 10
Click on the bottom image layer
Image, Rotate, Free Rotate and use these settings:
Direction: Right, Degrees: Free 20
Hide the background layer (White)
Layers, Merge, Merge Visible
Unhide the background layer (White)
Move the image layer slightly to the right

Maximize parafusos.psp and resize it to a width of 16 pixels (All Layers Checked)
Adjust, Hue and Saturation, Colorize and use these settings:
Hue: 23, Saturation: 40
Adjust, Sharpness, Sharpen
Copy and paste as new layer in your canvas
Position the screw in one of the corner
Effects, 3D Effects, Drop Shadow and use these settings:
Vertical and Horizontal 1, Opacity 50, Blur 2 and Color Black
Duplicate and position around to cover all the corners

Maximize SE_Retro_Bow_1.pspimage and resize 80%
Adjust, Hue and Saturation, Colorize and use these settings:
Hue: 23, Saturation: 40
Copy and paste as new layer in your canvas
Effects, 3D Effects, Drop Shadow and use these settings:
Vertical and Horizontal 2, Opacity 75, Blur 5 and Color Black
Position the bow into the left top corner (look at my image)
Duplicate 3 times and move each bow to a different corner

Maximize www.thewayyoulive.net-DiamondFlakes.pspimage
Hightlight Raster 9, copy and paste as new image
Resize 70%
Adjust, Sharpness, Sharpen
Effects, 3D Effects, Drop Shadow and use these settings:
Vertical and Horizontal 2, Opacity 75, Blur 5 and Color Black
Copy and paste as new layer in your canvas
Position the snowflake on top of the bow in the top left corner
Duplicate 3 times and move each snowflake to a different corner

Hightlight Raster 7, copy and paste as new layer in your canvas
Resize 55% (All Layers Unchecked)
Adjust, Sharpness, Sharpen
Effects, 3D Effects, Drop Shadow and use these settings:
Vertical and Horizontal 2, Opacity 75, Blur 5 and Color Black
Move this snowflake so it looks like its part of the girl's pendant

Hightlight Raster 10, copy and paste as new layer in your canvas
Resize 40% (All Layers Unchecked)
Adjust, Sharpness, Sharpen
Effects, 3D Effects, Drop Shadow and use these settings:
Vertical and Horizontal 2, Opacity 75, Blur 5 and Color Black
Move this snowflake so it looks like its part of the girl's ring

Maximize ivy_bowtags.psp
Hightlight Layer2, copy and paste as new image
Using FreeHand Selection Tool (Point to point)
Select the bow and upper part of the string and delete
Adjust, Hue and Saturation, Colorize and use these settings:
Hue: 23, Saturation: 40
Adjust, Brightness and Contrast, Gamma Correction and use these settings:
Link Checked, Red Green Blue set to 0.72
Repeat Gamma Correction
Resize 90%
Copy and paste as new layer in your canvas
Move the tag in the top left corner and move this layer down until its under the bow

Set your Foreground to NULL and Background to #887763
Click on the Text Tool and use these settings:



Type your name (If your name is too long, change the size to 16 or 18)
Position it into the tag
In the layer palette right click on your text layer and convert to a raster layer
Effects, 3D Effects, Drop Shadow and use these settings:
Vertical and Horizontal 1, Opacity 50, Blur 1 and Color Black

Maximize christmasball.psp
Resize 38%
Adjust, Hue and Saturation, Colorize and use these settings:
Hue: 23, Saturation: 40
Copy and paste as new layer in your canvas
Move the christmasball in the top right corner and move this layer down until the chain is under the bow
Duplicate this layer
Resize 80%
Image, Rotate, Free Rotate and use these settings:
Direction: Left, Degrees: Free 20
Adjust, Sharpness, Sharpen
Move this christmasball up and to the right, beside the other one (look at my image)

Add your watermark and your tag is finished. I hope you have enjoyed this tutorial.
