A program that I have found to
be great for making backgrounds is FM Paint
Engine. There are lots of presets and you can
make you own and save them. This
background is made using one of the
presets included in the file with Paint
Engine.
Supplies Paint
Shop Pro FM Paint Engine FM Tile Tools
1. Open a new image - 200 x 200 -
transparent.
2. Flood fill the image
with a colour of your choice. For the outer
background on this page I used #63111f.
3. Effects-Plugins-Fantastic Machines -
Paint Engine. Use the bad chalk settings as
shown below.
4. Effects - Plugins
- FM Tile Tools - Blend Emboss.
To make this tile seamless use Simple
Filter's Quick Tile or 20/20.
A quick
and simple background. Play around with the
Stroke-Type and you can get several different
effects. I hope you have enjoyed this
