This tutorial was written using PSP 9, but can be done in other versions

~ You will need ~
*** The oval tag I used is by Dozi. You can download it here (6th set from the top) ***

Paint Shop Pro, a 30 day trial can be downloaded here
My supplies here. The zip includes the tubes, backgrounds and font
Double click to open the font "Scrap Cursive" and minimize it on your desktop
Open the tubes in PSP and minimize them all

Open Fractal Template
Click on layer '1'
Set Foreground color to #4B4C63
Set Background color to #B8B458
Fill the layer with Foregound color
Ajust, Add/Remove Noise, Add noise and use these settings:
Gaussian Checked, Monochrome Checked, Noise 20%
Change the Opacity to 75%

Click on layer '2'
Lock Transparency



Fill layer with Foreground color
Lock Transparency



Ajust, Add/Remove Noise, Add noise and use the same settings as before

Click on layer '3'
Lock Transparency (see screenshot for layer 2)
Fill layer with Background color
Lock Transparency (see screenshot for layer 2)
Ajust, Add/Remove Noise, Add noise and use the same settings as before

Set your Foreground color to NULL
Set your Background to Pattern and find bg1 (Angle 0, Scale 100)
Activate Preset Shape Tool, Set to Rounded Rectangle and use these settings:
Anti-alias Checked, Create as vector Checked, Line Style Solid, Width 10
Starting at position 16, 24 draw a rectangle that is about 290 by 225 (ending position would be around 306, 249)
Right click on vector layer and convert to raster layer
Effects, 3D Effects, Drop Shadow and use these settings:
Vertical and Horizontal 2, Opacity 30, Blur 5 and Color Black
Repeat Drop Shadow and change Vertical and Horizontal to -2

Set your Foreground color to NULL
Set your Background to Pattern and find bg2 (Angle 0, Scale 100)
Activate Preset Shape Tool, Set to Rounded Rectangle and use these settings:
Anti-alias Checked, Create as vector Checked, Line Style Solid, Width 10
Starting at position 130, 90 draw a rectangle that is about 220 by 280 (ending position would be around 350, 370)
Selections, From Vector Object

Maximize mr_404_face.pspimage
Image, Mirror
Copy and paste as new layer into your canvas
Duplicate this layer
Layers, Merge, Merge Down
Position the face into the rectangle
Selections, Invert
Hit delete key once on your keyboard
Selections, Select None

Right click on vector layer and convert to raster layer
Effects, 3D Effects, Drop Shadow and use these settings:
Vertical and Horizontal 2, Opacity 30, Blur 5 and Color Black
Repeat Drop Shadow and change Vertical and Horizontal to -2

Copy stitches.pspimage
Paste as new layer into your canvas
Layers, Arrange, Bring To Top
Position the stitches at the top of the yellow rectangle
Layers, Duplicate
Image, Rotate, Free Rotate and use these settings:
Direction: Right, Degrees: 90, other options Unchecked
Position the stitches on the left side of the purple rectangle

Maximize btrflygoodietub_mdh.pspimage
Resize to a width of 79 pixels
Image, Rotate, Free Rotate and use these settings:
Direction: Left, Degrees: 45, All layers Checked, other options Unchecked
Adjust, Sharpness, Sharpen
Copy and paste as new layer into your canvas
Effects, 3D Effects, Drop Shadow and use these settings:
Vertical and Horizontal 2, Opacity 30, Blur 5 and Color Black
Repeat Drop Shadow and change Vertical and Horizontal to -2

Maximize a-dozi's-ovaltags-03.psp
Right click Background layer and delete
Click on Layer6
Set your Foreground to color #737589
Lock Transparency (see screenshot for layer 2)
Fill the layer
Lock Transparency (see screenshot for layer 2)
Click on the next layer (should be the tag border)
Adjust, Hue and Saturation, Colorize and use these settings:
Hue: 40, Saturation: 103
Layers, Merge, Merge Visible
Copy and paste as new layer into your canvas
Image, Rotate, Free Rotate and use these settings:
Direction: Left, Degrees: 45, other options Unchecked
Position the tag into the left top corner
Effects, 3D Effects, Drop Shadow and use these settings:
Vertical and Horizontal 2, Opacity 30, Blur 5 and Color Black
Repeat Drop Shadow and change Vertical and Horizontal to -2

Set your Foreground to NULL and Background to #E1DFE8
Click on the Text Tool and use these settings:



Type your name
Image, Rotate, Free Rotate and use these settings:
Direction: Left, Degrees: 45, other options Unchecked
Position it into the tag
In the layer palette right click on your text layer and convert to a raster layer
Effects, 3D Effects, Drop Shadow and use these settings:
Vertical and Horizontal 1, Opacity 50, Blur 1 and Color Black

Maximize PatryTubes_06_Objects_03.psp
Selection the purple bow, copy and paste as new layer into your canvas
Resize 60% (Resample using Bicubic, Resize all layers Unchecked)
Position it into the top left corner
Effects, 3D Effects, Drop Shadow and use these settings:
Vertical and Horizontal 2, Opacity 50, Blur 10 and Color Black

Maximize cmv_key.pspimage
Image, Mirror
Resize 50% (Resample using Bicubic, Resize all layers Unchecked)
Adjust, Hue and Saturation, Colorize and use these settings:
Hue: 166, Saturation: 57
Copy and paste as new layer into your canvas
Position it on top of the bow
Effects, 3D Effects, Drop Shadow and use these settings:
Vertical and Horizontal 2, Opacity 50, Blur 10 and Color Black

Maximize FractalFlower_01_TubedByGini_08-17-06.tub
Click on Gray blue green layer
Resize 50% (Resample using Bicubic, Resize all layers Unchecked)
Copy and paste as new layer into your canvas
Move the fractal into the bottom left corner
Effects, 3D Effects, Drop Shadow and use these settings:
Vertical and Horizontal 2, Opacity 50, Blur 10 and Color Black
Duplicate this layer
Image, Flip
Image, Mirror
Resize 65% (Resample using Bicubic, Resize all layers Unchecked)
Adjust, Sharpness, Sharpen
Position this fractal into the top right corner
Image, Add borders, 5 pixels using #34344C color
