This tutorial was created June 9, 2007 Any resemblance to other online tutorials is purely coincidence ŠN@thy 2007 This tutorial was written using PSP 9, but can be done in other versions ~ You will need ~ The glitter and stars dangly I used is from JosDZigns. You can visit this awesome site here *** You can download the dangly here *** The ribbon I used is from Simply Original Scraps by Cindy. You can visit her awesome site here Paint Shop Pro, a 30 day trial can be downloaded here My supplies here. The zip includes tubes, brush and font Put the brush into your brush folder Open tubes in psp Tubes have HIDDEN layers which mean you must unhide to see them Minimize them all Double click to open the font "TimeScrDLig" and minimize it on your desktop Set your foreground color to #D09F3A Set your background color to Black (#000000) ~ Step 1 ~ Maximize nathybentframe.pspimage This will be our working area Click on the bottom layer to active it Copy Circle Flowers by ca_pris_11.pspimage and paste as new layer Move the flowers down a bit and to the left so we can see them on the left side of the frame Layers, Duplicate Image, Flip Image, Mirror Move these flowers down and to the left so we only see a little part of them at the top and on the right side of the frame Layers, Merge, Merge Down ~ Step 2 ~ Unlock the transparency for this layer Left click one time into the layer to fill the flowers with your foreground color Change the Opacity of this layer to 50 Lock the transparency ~ Step 3 ~ Maximize mds4821 Moon and Tree.pspimage Copy modified layer and paste as new layer into your working area Make sure the image layer is under the drop shadow layer Move the image up so it fits nicely into the frame ~ Step 4 ~ Maximize inga_bathead.psp Copy Layer1 and paste as new layer into your working area Image, Resize and use these settings: 75 Percent, Resample using Bicubic, Lock aspect ratio Checked, Resize all layers Unchecked Move the face up and to the left Click on the frame layer to activate it (should be top layer) Activate your Magic Wand and use these settings: Mode: Add, Match mode: RBG Value, Tolerance: 0, Contiguous Checked, Feather: 0, Anti-alias Checked, Outside Select outside the frame ~ Step 5 ~ Click back on the face layer to activate it Hit delete once on your keyboard Selections, Select None Change the Blend Mode of this layer to Overlay Layers, Duplicate Change the Blend Mode of this layer to Screen Click on the frame layer to activate it (should be top layer) ~ Step 6 ~ Maximize Glitter_and_Stars.psp Copy B/Gold moon/stars layer and paste as new layer into your working area Image, Resize and use these settings: 50 Percent, Resample using Bicubic, Lock aspect ratio Checked, Resize all layers Unchecked Position in the right top corner Effects, 3D Effects, Drop Shadow and use these settings: ~ Step 7 ~ Copy stitches.pspimage and paste as new layer Move the stitches down and to the left and position it so it holds the frame Layers, Duplicate Move this one on the other side Layers, Merge, Merge Down Effects, 3D Effects, Drop Shadow and use the same settings as before ~ Step 8 ~ Layers, New Raster Layer Activate your Brush Tool, find Friendship-Danetta[10-25-06] 007 brush and use these settings: Using black color, apply the brush in the top right corner of the image (Look at my image for placement) ~ Step 9 ~ Maximize SOScraps_FF_Ribbons.pspimage Copy Raster 2 (top layer) and paste as new layer into your working area Image, Resize and use these settings: 85 Percent, Resample using Bicubic, Lock aspect ratio Checked, Resize all layers Unchecked Image, Rotate, Free Rotate and use these settings: Direction: Left, Degrees: 80, everything else Unchecked Adjust, Sharpness, Sharpen Position the ribbon at the bottom of the frame into the black part (Look at my image for placement) ~ Step 10 ~ Activate the Text tool and use the following settings: Set your Foreground color to NULL Set your Background color to #DBCAAA Type your name Position your name beside the bow Layers, Convert to Raster Layer Effects, 3D Effects, Drop Shadow and these settings (Color #D09F3A): ~ Step 11 ~ Hide the background layer and crop your image Unhide the background layer Layers, Merge All (Flatten) Add your watermark, resize if you'd like and save your work as jpg Your tag is finished.
