Happy Frame
(PSP 7, 8, 9 & 10 - no filters)
A  tutorial by Mar ©2003

You need this gold pattern and an image.

Save as MD-Goud-1.bmp in your folder 'Patterns' in PSP.
You also can copy and paste in PSP.

Save often.
Let's get started
. Good luck.....

1. Open an image. I used this one below.
If you like to use it, copy and paste in PSP.

Artist: unknown.

2. Background color, use a light color in your image.
I used #F7E88D.
Background color to MD-Goud-1.bmp.

3. Image > Add borders > 5 Pixels symmetric > White.

4. With your wand select the white border.

Fill with the gold pattern.

5. Image > Add borders > 25 Pixels symmetric > White.
Confirm merging.

6. Select your border and fill with #F7E88D.

7. Effects > Distortion > Ripple > Black.

8. Effects > Edge > Enhance more.

9. Effects > 3D effects > Inner bevel.

10. The next step is different for each image.
To decide on the color of your border, click the color box.
You will see a color picker.
Click with the picker on your image, till you have a color you like.
By clicking the eyes, you can see what you're doing.
I used #B09685.

11. Image > Add borders > 5 Pixels.

Select your border and fill with the gold pattern.

12. Add another border, 5 pixels, fill with black.

13. Image > Add borders > 25 Pixels.
Select and fill with #F7E88D.

14. Effects > Distortion > Ripple > Black.
Repeat Edge > Enhance more and the same inner bevel.

15. Keep the selection.
Image >
Mirror.

Image > Flip.

16. Image > Add borders > 5 Pixels.

Select and fill with gold pattern.

17. Again a border 5 pixels, fill with black.

Well done. Your  Happy Frame is finished.
If you think your frame is very big, by adding
all those borders, resize 80%.
(Image > Resize 80% check all layers).

I hope you liked this one.
