Golden Mosaic Background

Created using PSP9 but can easily be worked in other versions
Quick and simple tutorial to make a variety of backgrounds

Materials

Paint Shop Pro
Simple Filters
L & K Djin
Gold
*Unzip and open in PSP*

Base Background

1. Open a new image 100 x 100, transparent

2. Flood fill the image with the gold pattern

3. Layers - New Raster Layer

4. Fill the layer with your choice of colors
A medium to dark color works best
5. Change the blend mode on the layer to dissolve

6. Lower the opacity on this layer to 76

7. Layers - Merge - Merge All

Save this as your template
