This frame tutorial was made with PSP7
but can be created in earlier versions too ... Earlier versions may not have
the fine leather effect used in this tutorial but the frame can be
accomplished without it ...

Jasc Paint Shop Pro You can download a fully functional 30
day trial version ... Here
Plug-in Filter / NVR BorderMania ... You can download the
filter ... Here Unzip
and place in your PSP Plug-in Filter folder ...
Plug-in Filter / ScreenWorks ... You can download the filter
... Here Unzip
and place in your PSP Plug-in Filter folder ...
Bird image ... You can download the image ... Here Unzip
and then open in PSP ...
~ Instructions ~
1. Set Foreground color to a light color from you image ... I
used #D4C3AF Set Background color to a dark color from your image ... I used
#6F7872
2. Image / Add Borders / Symmetric Checked / 5 (This should
be your dark color) With the Magic Wand click on the new
border
3. Effects / 3D Effects / Inner Bevel with the following
settings:
4. Selections / Invert Effects / 3D Effects / Cutout with the
following settings:
5. Reverse Foreground and Background colors Image / Add
Borders / Symmetric Checked / 5 (This should be your light color) With the
Magic Wand click on the new
border Effects / Plug-in Filters / Screenworks / Micro Maze Effects / 3D
Effects / Inner Bevel with the same settings as in Step #3
6. Reverse Foreground and Background colors Image / Add
Borders / Symmetric Checked / 5 (This should be your dark color) With the
Magic Wand click on the new
border Effects / 3D Effects / Inner Bevel with the same settings as in Step
#3 again Selections / Select None
7. Effects / Plug-in Filter / NVR BorderMania / Frame #2 with
the following settings:
8. Image / Add Borders / Symmetric Checked / 18 (This should
be your dark color) With the Magic Wand click on the new
border
9. Effects / Texture Effects / Fine Leather with the following
settings:
10. While still selected go to Effects / 3D Effects / Inner
Bevel and use the same settings as in Step #3
11. Image / Add Borders / Symmetric Checked / 5 (This should
be your dark color) With the Magic Wand click on the new
border Effects / 3D Effects / Inner Bevel with the same settings as Step #3
12. Reverse Foreground and Background colors Image / Add
Borders / Symmetric Checked / 5 (This should be your light color) With the
Magic Wand click on the new
border Effects / Plug-in Filters / Screenworks / Micro Maze Effects / 3D
Effects / Inner Bevel with the same settings as in Step #3
13. Reverse Foreground and Background colors Image / Add
Borders / Symmetric Checked / 5 (This should be your dark color) With the
Magic Wand click on the new
border Effects / 3D Effects / Inner Bevel with the same settings as Step
#3 Selections / Select None
14. Effects / Plug-in Filters / NVR BorderMania / Frame #2 with
the same settings as in Step #7
15. Resize and sharpen image if necessary
