Hi and welcome :o)

This tutorial will show you how to add an animated gif to your tag.  I highly suggest that you try another one of my tag tutorials before trying this one, since I do not cover in detail a lot of the tools used in this tutorial. Again there are many ways to do this and my way is not the only way :o)  with that being said, lets begin.

To do this tutorial you will need the flowers, background fill, font and the animated gif.  You can get all of these by clicking here.

Open a New 500x500 Transparent Image. Flood fill it with white, name this layer background.

Set your foreground color to null and your background to pattern.

Find the floral pattern you downloaded earlier and use these settings

Click on your text tool.  Using these settings apply your text.

Click on the corner of your new vector layer and resize your text to the size that you want.

Right click on the Vector layer on your layer palette and convert it to a raster layer like so.

Apply a drop shadow to your text using these settings.

We now have this...

Now we need to add our flowers. Open the first flower and drag it to your new image...now that we have our first flower we need to find the right spot for it....this is a matter of trial and error...each name will be different for each person so where I place my flower may not look right on your name :o)  Play with the flowers and don't be afraid to erase parts that you don't want or turn your flower with the deformation tool to get them just the way you want them. With that said here is how I did mine.

Turn your flower using the deformation tool. Once you get it where you want it.  Click on  your pointer tool to set the deformation (don't forget to sharpen after each deformation)

I thought the flower was to big, so I resized it a bit (making sure that resize all layers was unchecked, since we just want to resize the flower and not the text)

Now zoom in close to your flower...erase any unwanted stem area...I kind of made mine to look like the stem came out through the opening of the letter like so...

Once you have the flower the way that you want it, add a drop shadow using these settings.

Continue adding, turning and erasing your flowers until you get the look that you want...this is what I came up with..

Notice that I used just the bud from the first flower on my Y, and erased the rest of the flower. Don't be afraid to try different things with your flowers or add some of your own to get the look that you want.  The undo button is something I use often..lol.

Once you have all the flowers the way you want, X out your background layer and merge the text and flowers together.

If you would like a watermark on your tag go ahead and add a new layer and place the watermark where you want it...name this layer watermark.

Ok...now that we have our text done we can add our animated gif....it's the easy part :o)
