Since you are still with me, I must say I admire your intestinal fortitude. Anyway the hard part is done and the fun begins.

12. The Shading
Body

Active Layer = 'body".
Right Click/Convert to Raster Layer.
Selections/Select All/Float
Effects/3D Effects/Cutout with following settings.

     Vertical = 0
     Horizontal = 0
     Opacity = 60
     Blur = 20

     Shadow Color = #000000

Selections/Select None

Activate the Eraser tool with these settings.

Very carefully erase the shading line where it crosses the body. At the point (circled in red) where "Shading" from the body layer shows thru the erasure on the leg...STOP. We'll fix this a little differently

With the "leg1" layer active and the "body" layer right below...Right click/Merge/Merge Down.

Activate the Smudge tool (settings below) and carefully blend the troubling spot.

Active Layer = "body"
Foreground Color = #F5A3C4

Again make "hoof" your Active Layer with "copy of hoof" directly below. Right Click/Merge/Merge Down.
Right Click/Rename the layer "hooves1".
Active Layer = "hooves1"
Right Click/Duplicate.
Active Layer = "copy of hooves1"
Click and drag this layer down till it rests directly over "leg2"
Use the Deform Tool to make any adjustments that are necessary.
Rename this layer "hooves2.

Active Layer = "hooves1"
Again Right Click and Duplicate
Move this "copy of Hooves1 to directly above the "front leg" layer.

Right Click/Merge/Merge Down.

Right Click/Convert to Raster Layer
Repeat the same actions used on the "left inner ear".

Active Layer = "left nostril"
Right Click/Convert to Raster Layer.

Active Layer = "right nostril"
Right Click/Convert to Raster Layer.

Lashes

Active Layer = "left lashes"
Right Click/Convert to Raster Layer.

Using the Smudge settings below, pull 8 or 9 curved lines from the heavy black line we created earlier.

Repeat the same procedure used on the left eye.

     Horizontal = 1
     Opacity = 50
     Blur = 5
     Shadow Color = #000000

Here is our final result.

Note...I hereby declare that NO cows were harmed in the making of this tutorial. After all, all "babies" are born angels.

Many thanks to my "testers" for all of their help and encouragement. Here are the results of their work.
