This tutorial was made in PSP 8.10 but can be done
in PSP 9, but the result will look different.

To do this tutorial you will need the following tools:

Paint Shop Pro click here to download a trial version

Filter Factory Gallery L click here to download

Simple Filters click here to download

Goldfill pattern click here to download

Open a new transparent image with 200 x 200.
Choose a color to make a contrast with gold.
In this exemple I used the color "# 800000".
Add a new layer.
Select the gold pattern as your foreground color and close
the background color.
Click in the draw tool with the following settings:

Draw this line from the point (100,0) to (100,200),
it will look like this :

On your Layers pallete right click your vector layer and
Convert to a raster layer, right click the converted layer
and duplicate. Go to Image - Rotate - Free Rotate :

Now you'll have this :

Go back to the pen tool same setting and draw a
diagonal line from the point (0,0) to (201,201).
You'll have something like this:

Now again on the layers pallete, right click the
diagonal line layer and Convert To Raster Layer,
right click again and duplicate, go to Image
mirror .

Close the background layer like this:

Right click any open layer and Layers merge visible.

Open your background layer.

Click the merged layer to select it and go to
Effects - Plugin Filters - Fliter Factory Gallery L - Four Rings
with the default settings.

Now go to Effects - Reflection Effects - Kaleidoscope
With this settings:

Go to Effects - Plugin Filters - Simple Quick Tile.

If you wish more gold do Adjust - Sharpeness - Sharpen
or Adjust - Sharpeness - Unsharp Mask with this settings:

This settings are not my creation, I got it in a tutorial
sorely I don't remember where.

File save as gif, this will preserve the gold in the image,
but you can play with the file formats.
Using jpg, the image will be lighter or have the gold changed.
Before you close the original image do a test to check
if it seamless,it will depend of the use of the sharpen and the
color you used. If not appears seamless just make this:
Selection all - Selection modify - contract ="2"
clique shift+R and it's finished.

Here is another example with dark blue
playing with the file format gif and jpg.
