This tute will show you how to make a Bezier Line to give the layered look as you see in the image above.
This mini tute will result in a tube you can use for many different applications.

1.) Open a 600 x 200 Transparent canvas.

2.) Set your foreground color to #404040 or if you want a bolder line you can use black....background should
be turned off.

3.) Click on the Draw Tool and set to these settings...

4.) Hold down the shift key and draw a line about half the width of your canvas.
Look at the screenshot below to see how I set the arrows on my bezier line...

I had you create your line as a vector so that you could node edit the line to make different types of curves,
but for this tute we will not edit. You can save your line as a preset shape or as a psp file so that it can be
edited later if you'd like.

5.) Convert your line to Raster.

6.) Make Layer 1 your active layer. Flood fill the layer with a nice tile you've made. (this is just so you can see the
magic of your line come to life.)

7.) Make your line layer your active layer. Go to Effects, Blur, Gaussian Blur with these settings....

You can play with the Radius of the blur to get the look you want but this is what fit what I wanted.

How does it look? Do you have the layered look? If you want it bolder, undo the blur and make the Radius less
or you can add a drop shadow leaving the line un-blurred if you wish.

8.) Duplicate and Mirror your line layer. Match the layers up together. Now you see the magic of this simple line?
Pretty neat isn't it?

I didn't want to tube the double line so I only tubed the one layer. I copied and pasted the single line as a new
image. I then tubed the image so I could use it over and over. By tubing you can scale the line to what ever size
you need. You can also use the deformation tool to make the width longer if you need to!

Take a look around my site, you'll see some of the different ways I've used a Bezier line in sets I've made for my site
and for free to use sets I've made!

Until next time, God Bless.
